The Heart of the Master was a reaction to fellow Artist and Songwriter Paul Cardall. While Paul was waiting for a heart transplant I felt inspired to draw the Savior with his heart exposed, denoting his humanity, and love for the world. It also brought Paul special meaning concerning his condition, and new life when he received a new heart.
